In our country, large animals may pose a danger to drivers, especially in mountainous areas, but in recent years, wild animals, such as wild boars, have also appeared near urban centers, often creating dangerous situations.
And while for a car a collision with a large animal such as a deer or a wild boar may only affect the vehicle, for motorcyclists it is obviously a matter of life and death.

In the video below we see such an extremely dangerous situation. A motorcycle is traveling at about 90 kilometers per hour on a mountain road.
The rider seems to be enjoying the ride, but suddenly a deer jumps in front of him and tries to cross the road.
The rider is taken by surprise and doesn’t even have time to react, slamming into the animal. Despite the severity of the collision, in an inexplicable way, the rider manages to maintain control of his motorcycle and avoid falling.
The collision was very powerful and caused a lot of damage to the front of the motorcycle, but it seems to have held up. It’s probably also due to the fact that the Yamaha FJR 1300 is a large and heavy bike.
Equally important seems to be that the rider kept his cool and stopped in a controlled manner without panicking. However, this particular one may have been lucky, but apparently, he is the exception, as such a conflict almost always has an unpleasant outcome.
