The rappelling on Delta Poseidon had been made by helicopter from which seven armed men disembarked, while the disembarkation with seven armed men on board the Prudent Warrior was similar. The move was a retaliation by the Iranian government to Greece’s seizure, in the context of international sanctions against Russia, of the tanker “Lana” which as “Pegas” originally of Russian interests and was transporting Iranian oil and sailed in the Karystos anchorage due to mechanical failure last April.
