The Turkish airforce violated Greek national airspace on 95 occasions over the Aegean on Wednesday.
A total of 27 aircraft, 11 pairs of F-16s, 1 pair of F-4s, two Navy CN-235 aircraft, and one helicopter breached the Greek airspace.
Fourteen of the aircraft were armed, while there were 19 infringements of the Athens FIR and 95 violations, of which 62 were carried out by fighters, and 33 by CN-235.
The violations resulted in a total of 9 dogfights with Greek fighter jets in the northeast, central and southeast Aegean.
The above aircraft were identified and intercepted in accordance with international rules, according to standard practice.
