Highschool students in Corinth arrested after allegedly trying to gang rape a classmate

The parents of the students were also arrested

Five high school students were arrested in the city of Corinth after they allegedly tried to gang rape a teenage girl at school.

The students between the ages of 13 and 16 reportedly attacked, immobilised, and attempted to rape their classmate at the 1st High School. The children’s parents were also arrested and taken to the Prosecutor for neglect of supervision.

According to police “sources”, yesterday afternoon, a 45-year-old mother went to the Corinth Police precinct and reported that five of her daughter’s classmates tried to rape her in the schoolyard.

As she told police in her deposition, at 11 am on Wednesday and while the girl was in the schoolyard, five of her underage classmates, acting together, immobilised her using physical force and then beat her on the chest and genitals.

The teenage girl, resisting, managed to escape and run away from the scene. The police, after a preliminary investigation, managed to identify and arrest the alleged perpetrators along with their parents while they were at home.
