The investigations of the Hellenic Police’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal Department continues regarding the powerful explosion that occurred in the early hours of Thursday (12/1) targeting the building that houses the Panathinaikos fan association in Maroussi.
The police are collecting material from security cameras in the area in order to “map” the route followed by the perpetrators.
In the video-document obtained by protothema.gr, a person can be seen placing the explosive device, however, the police are considering the possibility that there was an accomplice nearby.
The authorities do not rule out that the attack is connected to an internal conflict that has recently erupted in the ranks of organized Panathinaikos fans.

According to information, before the explosion there was a violent fight between Panathinaikos fans in the center of Athens.
The explosion that occurred at 3:40′ am on Thursday morning on Anavryton Street was so powerful that a crater was created at the site with information stating that the explosive device consisted of dynamite.
It is typical that the shock wave caused serious material damages as well as to eight shops, seven houses and two parked cars.
