According to the first information, an incident with shootings and three injuries occurred in the Gazi area of Malevizi Municipality, in Heraklion, Crete.
According to Cretalive’s information so far, it all started when a squad of Hellenic Police officers were following a wanted man in a jeep.
They tried to stop him and a hot pursuit ensued during which he pulled out a gun and started shooting at the police officers.
The latter reportedly returned fire.

As a result, a police officer, the wanted occupant of the jeep who was arrested, and a bystander who was in an adjacent cafe were injured.
According to the information, none of the three were seriously injured.
The ambulance and a unit with a doctor rushed to the scene, as well as police reinforcements.
