Riots with police forces have broken out in downtown Athens in front of the Greek parliament after thousands of Greeks held a huge march in protest to the deadly train crash last week, demanding those responsible be held accountable.

A group of hooded men started throwing Molotov cocktails in front of the Unknown Soldier, with the SWAT unit members responding by using tear gas. According to initial reports, the scuffle started with a small portion of anarchists.

Greek Police have proceeded with traffic regulations in the center of Athens, due to the planned gatherings and protest marches to the Parliament, which will be held by trade unions and labor centers.

In particular, the movement of vehicles has been stopped on Vasilissis Amalias avenue from the pillars of Olympia Dios, on Vasilissis Sofias from the height of Sekeri, on Universidad Street, and on Stadiou Street. The ships are also tied up in the ports.
