The president of SYRIZA, Alexis Tsipras, congratulated ND leader Kyrikos Mitsotakis on his party’s win in the elections in a phone call. The SYRIZA leader arrived at the headquarters of SYRIZA shortly before 9 pm.

Despite the crushing defeat the results recorded for his party, Mr. Tsipras was greeted with applause by SYRIZA supporters gathered at the party’s headquarters.

In a telephone conversation with Kyriakos Mitsotakis, he congratulated him on the victory of New Democracy.
