Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis has postponed his scheduled appearance and speech at this weekend’s annual TIF in Thessaloniki, as the floods and the huge disasters in Thessaly have changed his planning.

According to protothema.gr, the main scenario at the moment is that the Prime Minister’s speech on Saturday and the subsequent press conference will not take place and that it will be rescheduled for the next few days, during the week.

Mitsotakis will be at the Civil Protection Coordination meeting at 11 a.m., while over the weekend, he will be in the affected areas of Thessaly, in order to see the disaster that has occurred.

Mitsotakis’s planned visit to Evros tomorrow has already been postponed following the devastating fires of the previous days.
