The bridge at Paleopyrgos in Larissa could not withstand the floods and collapsed. This bridge connects Paleopyrgos with Alexandrini, the coastal villages of the municipality of Tempe and Strintzos, and leads to the main road from Omoli to Stomio.

With the collapse of the bridge, access to the area of Paleopyrgos is via Pyrgettos.
