The Supreme Court of Ukraine, regarding corruption, accepted the claim of the country’s Ministry of Justice for the seizure of the assets of Ivan Savvidis and his wife.

Specifically, as reported by kyivindependent.com, the decision was made by a panel of three judges after in August 2023, Ivan Savvidis was included in a list of Non-Governmental Organization with 25 Russian oligarchs whose businesses were deemed to serve the Russian military-industrial complex, and whose assets had not yet been seized.

The seized assets of Ivan Savvidis include 100% of the corporate shares of PJSC Pentopak, which is a leader in the production of packaging for meat and delicatessen products, and 100% of the corporate rights of its subsidiary Atlantis-Pak Ukraine. The Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Agency stated that his wife is the nominal owner of many of his companies in Ukraine, although they actually belong to him.
