Unprecedented weather event hits Abu Dhabi: Hail, rain, and flooding shock residents

Residents of Abu Dhabi and Dubai woke up early Monday morning to lightning, thunder and torrential rain.

Meanwhile, even before dawn, parts of Abu Dhabi were covered in hail.
