Haris Stamatis, the young beekeeper behind the popular “Orinimelissa” accounts on Instagram and TikTok, has become a sensation on social media with his viral videos garnering millions of views.

Recently interviewed by Grigoris Arnaoutoglou, Stamatis shared insights into his social media journey, emphasizing the financial opportunities it offers.

He also discussed his deep connection with bees, highlighting one of his most famous videos where thousands of bees peacefully rest on his naked body.

Reflecting on the unexpected viral fame of his videos, Stamatis explained that while he initially began sharing content featuring his bees, animals encounters, and culinary adventures, he never anticipated the global reach his videos would achieve.

Regarding the now-famous video featuring thousands of bees on his body, Stamatis emphasized the delicate balance and careful management required for such feats, underscoring the relatively gentle nature of European bees compared to more aggressive species.

Born into a family where beekeeping wasn’t the norm, Stamatis pursued his passion for bees and animals independently, considering it more than just a hobby or job, but a deeply cherished passion.

He expressed his profound love for animals beyond just bees and his reluctance to label his work as merely a “job,” emphasizing the personal fulfillment it brings him.

In addition to his beekeeping endeavors, Stamatis had the unique opportunity to meet “Sophia” the robot during her appearance on “The 2night Show” and extended an invitation for her to visit his beehives, showcasing his enthusiasm for sharing his world with others.
