The first of the two steps needed for the National Football Team to return to a major tournament took place tonight at the “Hagia Sofia” OPAP Arena.

And it happened in the most emphatic way as the blue-and-white team scattered Kazakhstan in a dream-like first half, scoring…four times and securing its place in the playoff final for qualification to the final stage of Euro 2024.

There, next Tuesday (26/3) in Tbilisi, they will face Georgia, which prevailed in the other semifinal with a 2-0 win over Luxembourg.
