In the last twenty-four hours, a total of 56 wildfires blazed in Greece.
According to a statement by the Fire Brigade, 55 of them were battled at their initial stage, while the firefighting forces are still dealing with one.

The Fire Brigade urged all citizens to be particularly vigilant in case of a fire and for their own safety to follow the instructions given by the competent Authorities.
