Pyrros Dimas is a candidate for the European elections with New Democracy where his name was announced during the presentation of the ballot.

Pyrros Dimas appeared visibly moved during the presentation of New Democracy’s ballot for the European elections, referring to Freddie Beleris, the elected mayor of Himara who is currently in Albanian prisons.

He addressed Freddie Belleris’ son saying,  “Peter, justice will be served to your father,” and was applauded.

Olympic medalist Pyrros Dimas, among other things, said, “Within a few days, I became a father for the 5th time and a candidate for the European elections. Thank you for your trust; I will honor this and I will fight for the present and future of our children in Europe, for our brothers in Northern Epirus.”
