Damage to the catapult occurred on the speedboat ‘Thunder’ in the port of Paros where it docked at noon on Thursday.
It is noted that the speedboat has a total of 240 passengers on board.
The Thunder was sailing from the port of Heraklion to Santorini, Ios, Paros, Mykonos, Syros and Piraeus.

At the request of the shipowner, the passengers were transferred to other ships to their destination. Work to repair the damage is continuing.
Once completed, an inspection by the classification society that monitors the ship is expected to be carried out in order to issue a certificate of airworthiness.
