Authorities have proceeded to the arraignment of a 13-year-old child for the homophobic verbal attack against Stefanos Kasselakis during a speech by the SYRIZA president in Volos.
The minor has been released, local media reported, as Stefanos Kasselakis did not want to proceed with a lawsuit and said that if the 13-year-old wants to, he can contact him and discuss.
It is recalled that during Stefanos Kasselakis’ keynote speech in Volos, someone from afar called him “p…”, with the SYRIZA president responding calmly “Be well, come and say it here”, stressing that homophobia “is part of a Greece that must at some point overcome it”.
