The Hellenic Police (ELAS) rushed to the scene following a call received on Thursday morning about a woman found dead in the middle of the road in the area of Menidi. According to initial reports a knife, blood traces, and a bag were found close to the woman’s body. The deceased was detected at the junction of Parnithos and Aristotle street. According to sources, the woman is said to be around 40 years old, and had a stab wound in the abdomen area.
The police’s initial assessment is that it is a murder, with the perpetrator or perpetrators abandoning the woman on the road following the attack
