Olympiacos fulfilled their fans’ dream by winning the European title with a 1-0 victory against Fiorentina in the Conference League final at OPAP Arena, thanks to El Kabi’s goal in the 116th minute. As soon as the Portuguese referee blew the final whistle, thousands of Red fans watching the game on giant screens set up in three areas of Piraeus erupted into wild celebrations, turning night into day.
Fireworks, firecrackers, and flares created a festive atmosphere, while the spotlights at the port turned night into day. Thousands of people who had watched the match on giant screens along the beach, from the Bank of Greece to the University, flooded the area. Hundreds of Olympiacos fans took to the streets of Lamia after their team won the European title in the Conference League final. Immediately after the final whistle, they drove their cars through the main streets of Lamia and gathered at Eleftherias Square for an all-night celebration.
Korai Square, Marina Zeas (public space on Akti Moutsopoulou diagonally opposite the Naval Hospital of Piraeus), Georgios Gennimatas Square in Kaminia, the pedestrian streets of Amorgou and Ag. Eleftheriou, and Heroes Square in Perama are the locations where Olympiacos fans will gather for watch parties to view the UEFA Conference League final against Fiorentina.
