Soccer is not a fair sport… It may be the king of sports, but the best doesn’t always win.

And that’s exactly what happened today in the 69th final of the Champions League, where Real Madrid emerged for the 15th time in the history of European champions, leaving Borussia Dortmund with the impression.

You see at the level of national teams it may be true that “a football match lasts 90 minutes and in the end the Germans win”, but at the club level and especially in Champions League finals it turns into “a match lasts 90 minutes and at the end Real celebrates”.

For 74 minutes, Dortmund had made sure to prove why they reached this year’s final, but although they had the chances, they were not cynical and paid for it with Real playing the game of patience and justifying themselves…

Real celebrated their 15th title which they won for the first time unbeaten and Borussia left Wembley again defeated (as in 2013 by Bayern).
