A 17-year-old man was arrested, following a pursuit by law enforcement, for illegally transporting two immigrants.
Police officers considered the car driven by the juvenile, of Pakistani origin, suspicious, so they signaled him to stop at a point on the old Thessaloniki-Kilkis highway.
However, he ignored the police officers by speeding up in order to escape, while a short time later he immobilised the vehicle, unsuccessfully attempting to move on foot.
Two Nepalese women were found in the car, one of them in the trunk. As it turned out, the two smugglers lacked legal documents for their stay in the Greek territory.
