Britney Spears reveals recent visit to Greece with social media photos

It was the same period when photos of the pop star in poor condition were circulating

Newsroom July 2 11:00

Britney Spears revealed in a post that she traveled to Greece two months ago. Specifically, in the early hours of Tuesday, July 2nd, the pop star published a series of photos that, as she mentioned, she took during her stay on an island, the identity of which she did not disclose.

One of the photos shared with her over 42 million Instagram followers shows the blue door of a shop with the menu written on small blackboards. Spears also captured the island’s alleys and the harbor with its boats. “Photos I took from a trip to Greece 2 months ago,” she wrote in the caption.

During the period she claims to have been in Greece, the 42-year-old singer had been in the news and caused concern among her millions of fans. It was the same period when photos of Britney Spears in poor condition were circulating, showing her walking wrapped in a blanket and accompanied by police outside a hotel in Los Angeles.

According to a TMZ report in May, the pop star had a heated argument with her partner, Paul Soliz, which escalated beyond control.

On the night of Wednesday, May 1st, Spears went to the Chateau Marmont with Soliz. A few hours later, someone at the same venue called the police, claiming that a woman matching the 42-year-old star’s description was harassing and threatening the hotel staff and guests.

The police arrived shortly after 10:30 PM but left as they did not see anything suspicious at that time. The couple retreated to a hotel room around 11 PM, where they continued to have fun and drink. While in the room, they ended up in a massive argument, which, according to the same information, escalated to physical violence, with Spears injuring her leg. Sources cited by TMZ say the singer was “screaming and out of control in the hallway of her suite, and several people thought she had a mental breakdown, which is why they called an ambulance.”

Paramedics arrived around 12:40 AM, made contact with Spears, who was leaving the hotel with a pillow and a blanket wrapped around her. It was evident that she was crying. She did not enter the ambulance and ended up leaving with her security, alone and without her partner.
