Old buildings around Omonia are getting a second life in the hospitality sector, with funds from abroad.
One of the latest examples is the brand new “VISION Omonia” on the site of an old building at the junction of 36 Halkokondyli and September 3rd.
The hybrid hotel has 42 rooms and suites, with floor areas ranging from 26 to 60 square meters, it is a venture of FINDERS and its affiliate VISION Greece, a company launched with Israeli capital in 2014 with multiple markets, mainly in Athens and Crete.
New properties will follow in Akadimias, Ermou, Gazi, Metaxourgeio, Exarchia and Crete.
The second project is the “Luwian Athens Boutique Hotel” at the junction of 10 Piraeus and Zenonos streets, with 49 rooms, dining areas and a terrace with views of the Acropolis and Lycabettus.
The building is owned by CTY Group with investors from China and the Netherlands, in an investment of over 8 million euros.
