The municipality of Athens is appealing to citizens to be careful with their garbage, asking them to take it down at certain times of the day due to the heatwave.

Given the very high temperatures and for health and safety reasons, citizens and businesses are requested not to put their garbage in the bins between the hours of 11 am and 5 pm, as collection will only take place during the morning and night hours, since it has been deemed necessary to modify the schedules in all seven (7) Municipalities during adverse heat wave conditions.

Everyone’s cooperation is essential to avoid disruptions in the city during periods of high temperatures.
