The campaign team of Donald Trump is set to announce the Republican magnate’s vice-presidential candidate around 4:30 PM (local time, 11:30 PM Greek time) during the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
Three names have been most discussed: J.D. Vance, Doug Burgum, and Marco Rubio.
However, there are also many others who could potentially be a surprising choice.
The former president of the United States is in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for the Republican National Convention (RNC), where he will be officially announced as the party’s nominee later this week.
Although he is not expected to speak at the convention until later in the week, American media outlets Fox News and CBS News have reported that Trump plans to announce his choice for vice president today.
