A riot police officer is the driver of the motorcycle that dragged and killed a pedestrian in Paleo Faliro.

The fatal accident happened at about 06:05 at the junction of Poseidonos and Agios Alexandrou streets.

The rider of the motorcycle was injured and was taken to the hospital.

Investigations into the causes of the accident are being conducted by the Traffic Police.
