Fire broke out inside the University Campus of Komotini at noon Monday in the area of the road to Ayasma, resulting in a power outage in the area.
The intervention of the fire brigade was immediate, with at least two vehicles, while the power was restored after about fifteen minutes with crews of the DEDDIE being on site to restore the problem.
The army was also on the scene from the first minutes and helped to extinguish the fire.
Meanwhile, the immediate intervention of the fire brigade resulted in the fire being immediately controlled, while fire brigade forces remain on the scene.
