More than a hundred chairs and umbrellas were removed this morning by the Municipality of Polygyros from the beach of Kalyves, Halkidiki.

The operation began at 6:30 am with two trucks of the municipality and a machine, and was carried out in the presence of the Deputy Mayor of Daily Life, Vassilis Fardogiannis and the Deputy Mayor of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Yiannis Lelegiannis, with the parallel assistance of the Police.

It is a matter of respect to all, “stressed in his statements the Deputy Mayor of Daily Life, Vassilis Fardogiannis, noting that this operation will be repeated until it is understood that the beaches should be accessible to all citizens.
