The Cypriot YouTuber and MEP, Phidias Panagiotou, after facing intense criticism for his treatment of children and relatives of those missing since 1974, has released a new video in which he asserts that there was a misunderstanding.
He admitted that he “said a few too many words” but apologized at the moment to the children of the missing persons with whom he had a heated conversation.
According to him, journalists criticize him for the “clicks,” and the parties are all against him because they do not want him to be re-elected as an independent in the Parliament or the European Parliament.
Phidias Panagiotou explained that he disagreed with the children of the missing persons because they suggested traditional methods to promote their case in Europe, while he, being straightforward (according to his statement), disagreed and suggested that it might be better to make a video on YouTube.
