Elon Musk appeared in an interview with Jordan Peterson “deceived” about his child’s gender transition but determined to destroy the “woke culture virus,” as he called it.

The billionaire stated that he was misled by the “woke culture virus” and allowed one of his sons to transition to a transgender woman. The 20-year-old Vivian Jenna Wilson, as he calls himself now, wants no relationship with his father, and they have had political disagreements in the past, with Elon Musk calling her a “communist” who believes “anyone rich is evil.”

Elon Musk took it a step further, saying that what happened to him and his family was “evil.” “I was essentially deceived into signing documents for one of my older boys, Xavier,” he said, using his child’s former name. According to Elon Musk, “this happened before I understood what was going on and amidst Covid, so there was a lot of confusion. And I was told that Xavier might commit suicide.”

The world famous psychologist Jordan Peterson, argued that there is no evidence for the possibility of suicide, adding that underlying depression and anxiety cause higher rates of suicide in trans individuals than gender dysphoria. “It is incredibly evil, and I agree with you that the people promoting this should go to prison,” responded the founder of Tesla.

“I was deceived into doing it. They didn’t explain to me that puberty blockers are essentially just sterilization drugs,” said Elon Musk.

“My son Xavier is dead, killed by the woke culture virus,” he stated, adding that after this, he vowed “to destroy the woke culture virus and we are making some progress.”

According to Elon Musk, his shift to the right began due to this specific process and the deception he experienced. Although he has not spent much money on political donations, he has funded both Republicans and Democrats. However, he now openly expresses his support for the Republican camp.

In 2022, his son legally changed his gender to female and the name from Xavier to Vivian Jenna Wilson. In court filings, he declared that he “no longer wishes to be related” to Elon Musk “in any way,” while messages reveal that he tried to hide his gender dysphoria from his father for several years.

The application was filed just three days after his 18th birthday, although the court documents were made public the day after Father’s Day. Conversely, when he was 16, he revealed to his aunt that he was transgender but begged her not to tell his father. “Hey, I’m transgender, and my name is now Jenna. Don’t tell my dad,” he wrote.

Beyond the issue of gender transition, the billionaire described his son as a “communist” and blamed the expensive private high school he attended for his political views.

The pain of the fallout with his child

In Elon Musk’s biography, it is noted that the billionaire’s estrangement from Xavier “hurt him more than anything else in his life after the infant death of his first child Nevada,” who died just 10 weeks old from sudden infant death syndrome.
