Bloody incident over pastures in Lasithi – Two injured

A 69-year-old man and a 35-year-old man argued over pasture boundaries

A bloody incident occurred at dawn in the area of Sitanos in Lassithi between two cattle farmers over the boundaries of pastures.

The incident occurred between a 69-year-old man from the area and a 35-year-old man from a village in Mylopotamos.

The two men argued and then the 35-year-old reportedly hit the 69-year-old in the face causing a fracture of his nose and the elderly man allegedly responded by pulling out a knife and injuring him!

Both were taken to hospital while the 69-year-old was arrested.

The 35-year-old is being treated out of danger at the Venizelio Hospital.
