A bus driver went viral as he took his intention to keep his bus clean to “another level”. As seen in a video taken in Elafonisi, in Crete, by a tourist, the driver in question is “dusting off” one by one the passengers about to sit in the vehicle.
Specifically, as the video shows, he washes their feet with water and then throws air at them to get the sand off them, both themselves and any personal items that may be carrying sand and can be cleaned.

Sure, it’s a method not often encountered and even the tourists seem to take the driver’s gesture with a sense of humor. “This is only done in Greece,” comments the tourist who shoots the video in his own language. And no doubt, it’s quite useful for tourists as well, since Elafonissi is a fairly sandy beach and it’s hard to get all the sand off it at once.
