A sailboat carrying 77 illegal immigrants was spotted 112 n.m. SW of Pylos.
They were carried aboard a cruise ship and taken to the port of Kalamata.
In Kalamata, they will be registered by the city’s central port authority while they will be temporarily accommodated in the warehouse area until they leave for an organized migrant accommodation facility in the country.
