Olympic Games: Emmanuel Karalis’ Epic Reaction to Miltos Tentoglou’s “Golden” Jump

Manolo knew immediately that Miltos was jumping for a gold medal

Newsroom August 7 01:30

Emmanuel Karalis, who was also waiting to be awarded the bronze medal he won in the pole vault on Monday, stayed in Paris to watch his friend, Miltos Tentoglou, compete.

The Greek athlete was alongside the president of SEGAS, Sofia Sakorafa, and the coach of the gold medalist, Giorgos Pomaski, to witness Tentoglou’s impressive jump of 8.48 meters.

He should have expected it since he had told Milto that he had to jump 8.48 to win one of the bets that the two athletes often place between themselves during competitions.
