Dauren Kurugliev was unable to take the next step toward winning a medal in the 86kg freestyle wrestling category at the Olympic Games in Paris.
The 32-year-old wrestler was defeated by the Iranian, Hassan Yazdanicharati, with a score of 9-4, and was thus eliminated from the semifinals.
Now, Kurugliev is waiting to see how Yazdanicharati will perform in the semifinal against Nazem Amine of San Marino (scheduled for 7:15 PM).
