A tragedy unfolded at a funfair in Pefkochori, Thessaloniki, as a 19-year-old passed away a few hours after being seriously injured in the early hours of Monday.

The ride the young man was on suddenly broke, causing him to sustain severe injuries. He was rushed to the local health center in critical condition.

In fact, his mother and siblings were present when the accident occurred.

On Tuesday morning, he lost the battle, taking his last breath.

The manager of the amusement park has been arrested.
