Police officers of the Anti-Narcotics Sub-Division of the Attica Security Directorate conducted an operation yesterday at noon at a house in the settlement of Agia Sotiras in the area of Acharnon, where drugs.

During the operation, 2 men, aged 37 and 39, were arrested in the course of the operation, in the framework of the auto-custody, against whom a case file was formed for possession and trafficking of drugs respectively.

According to the ELAS, after investigating information regarding the action of a person who was trafficking quantities of drugs inside a house in Menidi, police officers of the Narcotics Department located the 39-year-old man and certified his criminal action. Subsequently, the 37-year-old man was found near this house, in whose possession 2 grams of heroin he had purchased earlier were found and seized.

After a search of the 39-year-old’s possession and house where the trafficking was taking place, the following were found and seized:

– 15.1 grams of cocaine

– 4 pharmaceutical tablets

– 330 euros and

– a mobile phone.

The arrested persons were taken to the prosecutor of Athens.
