A tragedy has unfolded on the island of Rhodes, as a 54-year-old citizen died in a work accident when the lawn mower he was operating as a worker at a hotel unit overturned, fatally injuring him.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. The unfortunate worker was found crushed by another colleague who immediately alerted the ambulance whose rescuers picked him up and took him to the hospital.

The exact circumstances under which the work accident occurred are being investigated by the competent authorities.
