In the hands of Kos law enforcement authorities, the 44-year-old Syrian man accused of committing acts against his partner’s 9-year-old niece has been in custody since noon yesterday.

The case went the way of justice after the 46-year-old mother of the minor from Ukraine. She reported the incident that allegedly occurred against her daughter on August 29, 2024.

According to the complaint filed Monday night by the 46-year-old woman and the 9-year-old girl’s 24-year-old sister, the lewd acts occurred at the home of the minor’s aunt while she was away.

During the complaint, the 9-year-old told her mother that the 44-year-old had previously molested her.

Following the complaint, a forensic examination was ordered for the minor and a special child psychologist was appointed to take a statement from the 9-year-old.
