A serious and violent incident between two convicted inmates took place in Korydallos Prison.

According to reports, the altercation occurred between the chief guard’s post and the prison chapel when one of the individuals involved (a well-known figure from the underworld) for unknown reasons, clashed with another inmate (who has been involved in murders).

Fortunately, the worst was avoided. It is worth noting that the same location was the site of the murder of a 35-year-old Albanian inmate at the end of last June.
