In a 34-second video posted on her social media accounts on Tuesday, the former First Lady described the attack as a “horrific, painful experience,” and expressed that the silence surrounding the case is “heavy,” adding that “there is more to the story that needs to be revealed.”

The video, set against a dark background with ominous music, features Melania Trump dressed in black and implies potential lapses by the Secret Service and other authorities. It coincides with a pivotal moment as Donald Trump prepares for a debate with his Democratic opponent, Kamala Harris, and as House Republicans have formed a special committee to investigate the July 13 assassination attempt on the former president.
