Beyoncé recently gave a rare glimpse into her personal life during an interview. The world-renowned singer opened up about the challenges of raising three children and emphasized the importance of normalcy and privacy within her family.
Among other things, Beyoncé revealed that her entire life, including her daily schedule, revolves around her kids. She shared that she tries to plan her tours around her children’s school schedules so she can be with them. “I try to tour only when my kids aren’t in school. I’ve always dreamed of a life where I could see the world with my family, exposing them to different languages, architecture, and ways of life.”
The 32-time Grammy winner also touched on the realities of parenting, admitting that it’s not always an easy task.
“I’ve always dreamed of a life where I could see the world with my family.”
“One thing I’ve worked extremely hard on is making sure my children can have as much normalcy and privacy as possible, ensuring that my personal life doesn’t become a brand,” Beyoncé explained. “It’s so easy for celebrities to turn their lives into performance art. I’ve made a great effort to stay true to my boundaries and protect myself and my family. No amount of money is worth my peace.”
“Raising three children isn’t easy. As they grow, they become their individuals with unique needs, hobbies, and social lives. My twins are a gift from God. Parenting teaches you so much about yourself. It takes a lot of prayer and patience. I love it—it’s grounding and fulfilling.”

Beyoncé also gave a special shoutout to her 12-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, who joined her on the Renaissance World Tour. “Blue is an artist. She has an incredible sense of music and fashion. She’s an amazing writer, painter, and actress. She’s been creating characters since she was three.”
As a reminder, Beyoncé and her husband, Jay Z, share three children: 12-year-old Blue Ivy and 7-year-old twins.
