The man was found dead from stab wounds on Friday afternoon in his home in Nea Smyrni.
The body was retrieved by the EKAV emergency services.
The man had scratches on his neck and a wound from a sharp object near his navel.
The 46-year-old lived in the house with his sister. The woman called the municipality’s social services, who in turn called the EKAV emergency services.
EKAV retrieved the man’s body, and a forensic examiner is expected at the scene.
