Rodopi: Streets flooded and landslides were caused by heavy rain

Appeal to residents to be particularly careful - Local storms in Thrace in the last hours

Roads flooded roads in many areas of the municipality of Iasmos in Rodopi due to torrential rain in the afternoon hours of Friday 13 September. Landslides have also occurred.

The local website xronos.gr notes that few anti-flood works have been carried out, which are not able to limit the flooding.

Winds are south southwest 3 to 5 Beaufort and the temperature reaches up to 30 and in western Macedonia up to 25 degrees Celsius. Also, locally intense thunderstorms are noted in Thrace in the last hours.
