Moments of terror were experienced by a kayak fisherman in Spain when he suddenly saw a shark circling his kayak.

The video shows the shark, which the fisherman identified as a hammerhead, swimming around the kayak.

The fisherman is even heard shouting, “Go away, you bastard!”

The incident took place off the town of Tazacorte in the west of the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands.
