We are in favor of the concert and any event for the victims of the Tempi tragedy, but we are against the ticket, said Dmitris Plakias, who lost his daughter and twin nieces in the accident.
In a statement to Mega, he said that the 15 euro ticket for the concert that has divided the victims’ relatives is a “large sum,” adding that “we can’t learn from websites what three people intend to do.”
He added that initially, 32 families of victims had decided to form an association, but at the last minute, five of them moved to form an association of their own.
“The red line we had set is about money. People are having a hard time, 15 euros is too much,” he said. He also pointed out that the court’s expenses, and those of the experts, have been paid.
Finally, regarding the appeal to the European courts, he pointed out first of all that the legal remedies in Greece must be exhausted. But we can go, Plakias said, for issues such as the 717 contract. But that will take years, he said.
