A Greek citizen is among the victims of yesterday’s terrorist attack in the Jaffa area of Tel Aviv, according to an announcement by the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Greek citizen, a resident of Jerusalem, reportedly originating from Thessaloniki according to protothema.gr, lost his life during the attack, plunging his family and the Greek community into mourning. According to reports, he was a young man around 20 years old with dual citizenship (Greek and Israeli). He was the son of a well-known doctor in Jerusalem.
The Greek diplomatic mission in Israel is in close contact with local authorities to provide support to the victim’s family and handle the necessary procedures.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs:
“We strongly condemn yesterday’s terrorist attack in the Jaffa area of Tel Aviv. We announce with deepest sorrow that among the victims of the attack is a Greek citizen, a resident of Jerusalem. We express our sincere condolences to the family and relatives of the victim.”
