Authorities were mobilized on Thursday afternoon after a suspicious object was found in the Psyrri area.
Due to the inspection carried out by the Bomb Disposal Unit (TEEM), traffic was temporarily halted on Aesop Street, but it has since been restored.
Initial reports indicate that the object was a small bag found outside an Israeli-owned restaurant.
