The AUTO ATHENS 2024 car exhibition has officially opened its doors to the public today and will run until October 13 at the Metropolitan Expo

Newsroom October 6 06:08

The AUTO ATHENS 2024 Car Exhibition has opened its doors to the public today and will run until October 13 at the Metropolitan Expo.

Equally important is the opportunity for visitors to see the new models up close, satisfy their desire to get to know them, touch them, and form their own opinions about them.

AUTO ATHENS 2024 is the most significant event in our country related to the automotive industry and is held under the auspices of the Association of Motor Vehicle Importers Representatives (SEAA).

It runs from today until October 13, at the state-of-the-art Metropolitan Expo, located in Spata, near Athens International Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos.”

The exhibition hours are: Monday to Friday: 14:00-21:00, Saturday and Sunday: 10:00-21:00. The ticket price is 10 euros, with free entry for people with disabilities (PWDs) and children up to 12 years old.

All official Greek car dealerships are participating, both traditional and new, which began their commercial presence in our country last year or this year.

Thus, visitors have the opportunity to see over 20 national premieres of new cars that will be available in our country from now on, as well as more than 200 models in total.

In this context, it is worth mentioning what is present at the companies’ stands and what visitors can admire up close. Those who wish can take a test drive in a specially designed area.

Some cars that we will see at AUTO ATHINA 2024:

ALFA ROMEO

The Italian company, which has many passionate fans in our country, is prominently featured at the exhibition. This is because it presents the Junior, its new SUV model that revives a legendary name from Alfa Romeo’s history. In addition to this model, the Tonale, Giulia, and Stelvio also attract significant interest.

BMW

The German company is officially presenting the new X3 in Greece, which has been upgraded both technologically and design-wise, as well as in terms of its luxury character.

Additionally, the XM Red Label is also showcased, an impressive SUV equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine producing 748 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm. Beyond these models, the exhibition features the range of vehicles that BMW offers in Greece.

BYD

The Chinese company has made a strong entrance into our country and is already recording good sales, attracting significant interest in its models. At the exhibition, it is officially presenting the new Seal U DM-i, its SUV model featuring an advanced plug-in hybrid system. In addition to this, it showcases its fully electric models, including the newly arrived Dolfin, Atto 3, and Seal.

DFSK

The Chinese company DFSK Motor (Dongfeng Sokon Automobile) was founded last year (2023) following a collaboration between Dongfeng Motor and the Serres Group. The company has recently started to establish its presence in our country.

At AUTO ATHINA 2024, it is officially presenting the Mengshi M-Hero 917, a robust luxury off-road vehicle available in both a fully electric version (with four electric motors producing 1,088 horsepower) and an EREV version, which delivers 816 horsepower.

TESLA

The star of the exhibition is the Cybertruck, which Tesla is officially presenting in Greece. This is one of the few times this has happened in Europe, making it a significant highlight of the event.

The all-electric pickup, known for its futuristic design and global reputation, has attracted a lot of attention, with many eager to see it up close. In addition to the Cybertruck, the exhibition also features other models from Tesla that are available in the country.
